Matthew Rockloff
Author
Matthew Rockloff is a Professor of Psychology at CQUniversity Australia, where he heads the Experimental Gambling Research Laboratory. Much of his research looks at what actually happens when people gamble – the choices they make, what pushes those choices one way or another, and why the risk of harm sits far higher for some players than others. He has also spent considerable time on online betting and casino games, testing which responsible-gambling measures hold up in practice and how consumer protection across the iGaming industry can be made to work better rather than just look good on paper.
